Plants

We carry a large selection of bedding plants and grow many of our premium annuals which include Proven Winners.  Vegetable plants are available in flats or single pots and include over 20 varieties of tomatoes and peppers and many hot pepper varieties, including italian long hots.  Our vast selection of herbs are available beginning early spring. We grow most of our perennials and offer a very large selection to meet all of your planting needs.  Our recently expanded tree and shrub yard offers many varieties to fill every location in your yard. If we don’t have what you are looking for, please ask and we will be happy to try to find it for you.

 

Organics

Our organic department expands every year and our most popular product is Safe & Simple Corn Gluten.  It helps control crabgrass, dandelions, chickweed and most importantly is not harmful to the environment.  We carry Espoma 4 Step Lawn Program: Chemical free and safe for kids and pets; it’s ideal for any lawn.  Our popular organic fertilizer is Coop Poop and is 100% weed free to fertilize your Lawn, Flower & Vegetable Gardens.  We carry a full line of Espoma Products, Organic Disease & Insect Control and Milky Spore Grub Control.  Additional products include Earthworm Castings, Alaska Fish Fertilizer and Diatomaceous Earth.  Compost bins and rain barrels are also available.

Mulch, Stone, Soil & Sand

Mulches are available bagged or in bulk quantities.  Your choices include Black, Brown or Red Dyed, Shredded Hardwood, Sherwood, Cedar and Playground Mulch.  Our bulk stone choices are Red shale, White marble, Pea Gravel, Riverjack and Grey driveway stone.  They are also available in bags, for smaller projects.  Many types of Retaining Wallstone are available as well as Belgium Blocks, Boulders and Stepping Stones.  Delivery is available on all our Bulk materials.  Please call for more information or to schedule a delivery.

Fertilizer

  • 4-Step Lawn programs including: Scotts Lawn Pro and Jonathan Green.
  • Milorganite (organic)
  • Miracle Gro plant fertilizer
  • Osmocote slow release fertilizer for annuals and vegetables (our favorite)

We carry a complete line of BONIDE Insecticides, Fungicides and Lawn Weed Controls.  If you have a problem with a plant, bring in a sample so we can diagnose it and provide you with the proper solution.
